Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uygar Miçooğulları, FEBU

Short Biography

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uygar Miçooğulları was born in Antakya in 1989.
He graduated from high school as valedictorian.
He completed his medical education at Gaziantep University between 2007 and 2013.
Between 2014 and 2019, he completed his Urology residency at Yıldırım Beyazıt University Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital and became a Urology Specialist.
During his residency, he received advanced training in laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery and worked in the fields of urological cancers and penile reconstructive surgery.
After specialization, he carried out many national and international studies and made an important contribution to the literature with more than 80 articles published in SCI/SCI-E indexed international and national journals.
In 2022, he completed the two-stage written and oral Board examination demonstrating competence in Urology in Europe and received the title FEBU (Fellow of the European Board of Urology). In the same year, he also earned the title of “Associate Professor” with outstanding success.

Some Achievements

Between 2019 and 2021, he worked as a specialist physician at the Urology Clinic of İzmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital. He ranked 4th in Turkey in the subspecialty examination. He passed the European Board of Urology examination [European Board of Urology] and the Turkish Board of Urology examinations. From October 2021 he worked at İzmir Özel Can Hospital, and today he serves his patients at Medical Park İzmir Hospital.
