Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uygar Miçooğulları, FEBU

Who is Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uygar Miçooğulları? He is a urology and andrology specialist practicing in İzmir. He graduated from Gaziantep University Faculty of Medicine and completed his urology residency at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Atatürk Training and Research Hospital. In 2022 he passed the European Board of Urology examination, receiving the title of FEBU, and in the same year the title of Associate Professor. His main areas of practice are laser prostate surgery, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, urological cancers and penile reconstructive surgery. He sees patients at Medical Park İzmir Hospital.

Curriculum Vitae

He was born in Antakya in 1989 and graduated from high school at the top of his class. He completed his medical education at Gaziantep University between 2007 and 2013. Between 2014 and 2019 he completed his urology residency at Yıldırım Beyazıt University Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital and became a urologist. During his residency he received advanced training in laparoscopic and robotic surgery and worked in the fields of urological cancers and penile reconstructive surgery.

Between 2019 and 2021 he worked as a specialist physician at the Urology Clinic of İzmir Tepecik Training and Research Hospital. From October 2021 he worked at Özel Can Hospital in İzmir; today he serves his patients at Medical Park İzmir Hospital.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Miçooğulları has taken part in many national and international studies and has published more than 80 articles in SCI/SCI-E indexed international and national journals.
