Bladder Botox

✅When Is Bladder Botox Used? The detrusor muscle (bladder muscle) is one of the main structures that lines the bladder wall and is responsible for urination. Botox treatment can be an effective solution for irregular activity of the detrusor muscle arising from various causes. Bladder Botox is a treatment method that is beneficial in conditions that can cause urinary incontinence, particularly overactive bladder syndrome and urge incontinence. Urinary incontinence, seen in approximately 17% of women and 3–11% of men, is a common problem in the general population and one that significantly affects people's quality of life. Because of this health problem, people may experience various disruptions in their daily, social, work and school lives. The symptoms commonly seen with bladder disorders are as follows. ✅Frequent urination; a sudden urge to go to the toilet (to urinate) ✅Nocturia (needing to wake up at night to urinate) and the resulting sleep disruption ✅Urinary incontinence. ✅Botox for Overactive Bladder. In patients who do not respond to or cannot tolerate overactive bladder (OAB) treatment, Botox injection is a minimally invasive treatment alternative. The effects of treatment usually begin to be seen within the first week.
